Will the Church Find its Voice and Restore America?
If Christians would be motivated to vote their values, we could put our Republic back on the right track
As of this writing, we’re less than 30 days away from the most monumental election of our lifetime, which will decide the fate of our nation for many years to come. This statement seems cliche, and has been said of every election in recent memory, at least those since 2016. And yet, it feels like the stakes have never been higher. There is a palpable sense of impending doom, as the spiritual struggle between good and evil continues to manifest ever more blatantly in our physical world.
- Ephesians 6:12
But unfortunately, too many churches and individual believers, including their clergy leadership, feel that it is too controversial to discuss topics if civic engagement, or to be involved in the election process, passively believing that whatever happens is purely God’s will.
Chad Connelly of the non-profit organization Faith Wins is trying to change all of that.
America’s founding principles, guided by Biblical values, are under attack like never before in its history. The responsibility is The Church to “find its voice” and preserve our Nation. THE AMERICAN RESTORATION TOUR is a multi-state tour with Chad Connelly of Faith Wins joining forces with David Barton of WallBuilders, Lindsey Foundation, and many others to bring a message of Hope, Renewal, and Revival to America’s Leading Cities and Churches. It continues to be a great “tag-team” effort featuring America’s premier Christian historian, David, and one of America’s foremost authorities on the faith vote, Chad.

We at Calvary Assembly of God are pleased to announce that we will be hosting David Barton and Chad Connelly for a stop on the American Restoration Tour on Monday, October 21st at 7:00pm at the church, located at 2988 60th Ave. Wilson, WI 54027

My church is very biblically based and talking to the parishioners about registering to vote, engaging and voting. But they refused to have tables out in the lobby to register voters. I contacted my church and asked if I could put a sign out near the entrance to promote being a conservative in the district and it was refused. I can’t advertise on the local Christian radio station because they don’t allow political ads. 30% of Christians did not vote in the last election. We desperately need every single vote. The alternate issue is that there are Christians that have absolutely no problem with full-term abortion. In my district, the state representative is the author of the pro act in Minnesota, which allows full term abortion with zero requirements or restrictions. She removed all funding for pro life, organizations, and pregnancy crisis centers across the state, she removed the mandated reporting for children and there is no reporting on third trimester abortion so we have no idea how many are happening in our state. She supports children’s transitioning and during a debate when I asked her how many genders are in the Bible, she said that Jesus would call trans children by the name they chose and use their chosen pronouns. She reinforced that ‘I’m a Christian and all of my children are baptized!’ Clearly her church is not teaching biblical precepts but instead are following the ways of the world. Many churches are lost so the question is do we have enough biblical based churches with parishioners who can see the truth or have we lost our way even within the church?
