In October of 2024, just a few days before the November Presidential election in which Donald Trump received an electoral landslide victory, I had the privilege of hosting Christian historian David Barton at our church in an effort to get evangelical Christians out to vote. It’s a sorry state of affairs to realize what a low percentage of this demographic is registered to vote, or votes very rarely.
In this presentation, David goes through in detail the falsehoods of the New Your Times’ 1619 Project, which is taught as factual in many public schools across the Nation. It teaches that the origin of the Country began in 1619 rather than 1776, and that it had it’s roots squarely in slavery and racism. David eloquently dismantles these false assertions in this fascinating presentation.
Far beyond opinion, the facts presented are tied back directly to their source documents from the founding era, of which Mr. Barton owns the largest collection outside of the Smithsonian. He doesn’t just cite his opinion, he can prove it with the original writings of the Founders.
This entire presentation is just over an hour and a half in duration, but is well worth the investment of time.
